Climate change and its effects
Climate change refers to a global phenomenon of an increase in average temperatures as a result of global warming and human activities like burning of fossil fuels hence an impact on the biological, physical systems. Global warming is a significant cause of climate change and its due to a greenhouse effect that arises due to the atmosphere retaining the Sun’s heat. As well human increased human activities act as a factor that causes climate change since many people have increased the activities of burning fuels and converting land to agricultural farms through deforestation and a result carbon dioxide is produced which produces greenhouse effect hence warming the earth. Due to the increase in temperatures as a result of climate change, the sea levels as well as rise due to the warming effect of the oceans and water expands. Warm temperatures cause the land ice to melt, and thus the water flows into the various beaches, thus increasing the level to the water, which in turn leads to increased sea levels. Through continue human activities, the gas emissions will as well increase; hence the sea level is projected to rise in the next 60 years. The coastal area will be flooded due to the rising level of the sea through the coming centuries as a result of high tides in the coastal regions. Hence it’s not prudent to invest in front of real ocean estate as it may result in a negative impact since real estate is a long term investment that must be done in a perfect location.
Conclusion
Climate change has been a challenge is a global challenge and poses a threat to many communities living in the coastal region. Its caused by global warming and increased human activities that emit gases. Countries should come up with strategies that are suitable for dealing with the problem of rapid climate change.
