coming to visit us in Tucson
Dear Ichiro,
I just got a heads-up that you’re coming to visit us in Tucson in May. That’s great; we’ve been looking forward to seeing you for some time now, primarily since we’ve heard that you’re interested in investing in our company because, as you know, cash flow is essential to any company, especially to a small firm like ours.
I was asked by the powers that be here to confirm your flight reservations. A temp took the original information, but because of its limited capacity, I need to prove it again: you will be arriving showing up Delta on 5/23/13, flight 435 at 2:00 p.m. And we’re going to send someone to pick you up at the airport. I’m sure you’re going to be exhausted, you ‘re probably going to provide some computer equipment with you and a lot of luggage, so be sure to tell the skycap to help you out, and we’re going to pay you back for that and anything else you spend money on. When you get off the plane, go to the baggage claim, then get your stuff out to the limo area, and our driver will be there with a sign with your name on it.
Now, to the most important things. In all honesty, we’re very excited that you’re coming to invest in our company. I think this will provide us with a much-needed infusion of funds not only to stabilize but also to stimulate the growth of our small company. Our products are unique, and we’ve never been able to expand without your help since Tucson is a growing place with lots of people moving here. And, of course, you would end up receiving the fruits of your labor, too. So if all works well, we’re supposed to make huge profits in two years or so. And despite what other people around the world say about Americans, we ‘re hard workers, especially my boss who heads up the company — nose to grindstone every day and burn the midnight oil every night!
Anyway, I have included a guidebook and a map of Tucson and material for our company. If you see anything you’d like to do in town, let me know, and if you have any questions about the company before we see you, send us a quick email or fax (I don’t think snail mail will get to us in time).
Ty Smith, Cheers.
