- What is the problem you wish to solve with your decision? What information do you need to solve the problem or to make a decision?
From the scenario, it is clear that i am in the dilemma of choosing whether to quit my current job for the other one or not. The problem that I want to solve is choosing between the two jobs. The information that I need to make the decision is how I will benefit from the job I choose in terms of the payment, family, and the transport cost.

The barriers to making the decision include the salary that I would be receiving from my new job, the distance I will be covering the new job, and my love for the current job. Those barriers will affect me in choosing whether to stay in the job that is paying well or go to the one that is not paying well. Other barriers include transportation costs, family issues, and my career.
- What are the alternative solutions to your problem?
From here, the solution would be either to remain in my current job or to switch to the other one. The alternative decision may be to quit all the two jobs and start my own business that would probably have no barriers.
- What values do you have, which may influence your decision?
The values which influence my decision include my desire to get rich, to reduce the transport cost, the wishes of my wife and children, my career objectives, and my goals that I want to achieve in my life. The values are making it difficult for me to choose what is right and what would benefit my life for the good.

From the scenario, I would choose to quit my current job and go to work for the one that i like. Even though the job will not be paying a lot and it is far from my area of residence, there would be a high possibility of being promoted since I will be working with my due knowledge and the skills. When I chose the second option, I will be able to practice my career that would help me in the inventions.

I will communicate my decisions to my boss and wife using good communication techniques. I will address my boss that I want to nature my career, and that is why I want to switch my job to the new one. I will also tell my wife that the new job will mean a lot to our future. I will communicate with my boss using a formal language.
- What possible risks and consequences could happen because of your decision?
The risks which might happen to my decision is that my boss would get angry with me, my wife would not like my decision, the job I want may not be promoting people as I thought at first, the management style used in my new job would not favor me at all, and the new climate would not favor me.
