Understanding cultural intelligence by hr managers is critical for the success of multi-international organizations. Cultural intelligence is the capacity to relate to different cultural situations and thrive accordingly in them. Meeting challenges experienced in fighting games company is as a result of inefficient knowledge of cultural intelligence. Therefore, hr. Managers of the fighting games company need to understand the importance of cultural intelligence for the organization.
Cultural intelligence provides a competitive advantage to the gaming industry. Notably, cultural intelligence improves communication, unity, teamwork, and corporation. High cultural knowledge facilitates innovation and profitability due to the availability of a wide range of tools and products in different locations (Paz, 2015).
Robust Cultural intelligence in a company promotes happiness among workers and encourages them to appreciate diversity. Further, cultural intelligence facilitates the retention of skills and abilities from the diversified workforce (Paz, 2015). As evident in fighting Games Company, workers in Shanghai are not happy. Notably, the Shanghai team has canceled several meetings citing lateness of the California team.
Notably, organizations working across cultures like in the caser of fighting games cowpony, the relationship between the two technical teams is different, especially that they have to communicate concerning the progress continually. However, as a result of the differing time zones, it is uncommon to tell what and why the people on the other end act the way they do. Therefore, if hr. Managers uphold cultural intelligence and result in enlightening the Shanghai team on how to manage the differences. It will create harmony (Paz, 2015).
Upholding cultural differences between diverse groups increase the work rate and effectiveness.
The need for cultural intelligence in imminent in the fighting game company because of the two national cultures involved. Acknowledging cultural knowledge by hr managers is critical because hr can enlighten the workers’ in the content and the understanding of each culture. The culture knowledge includes learning how the different culture expresses frustrations or disappointments and ways of giving feedback.

Hr. Managers can apply three strategies in developing cultural intelligence. First, hr. Managers should understand their cultural history before attempting to understand other people’s cultures (Brake, 2019). Understanding your own culture means probing the reasons you believe what you believe, and where you come from.
Further, hr should evaluate how their interactions with other cultures fairs and how the interactions change their perspective towards the word. Additionally, they should take a view on the society they grew up and the approaches provided by those cultures regarding other different cultures. With these examinations, the hr. will likely discover what they learned back then and identify what requires to change.
Secondly, hr. Managers need to experience a different culture through plunging into different cultures, the hr. Mangers will experience insight into how it feels to be a minority in an unfamiliar situation (Brake, 2019). The experiences will equip them on how to cross different cultures effectively and at ease. Thirdly, hr managers should enroll in learning new languages as a way of developing cultural intelligence. Notably, a language tailors to reveal qualities of a given culture. Therefore by learning new languages, hr managers get an insight into the life of the respective society (Brake, 2019).

For the hr managers in fighting games company, adopting communication strategies is essential. Portraying awareness regarding cultural diversities is vital. Cross-cultural communication skills are crucial in ensuring effective communications. For example, Spanish regard communication as productive if accompanied by eye contact and hand gestures. Additionally, hr managers should ensure timely target meeting failure or lateness (Juneja, n.d.).
