Hi Joshua, the company you chose for a strategic audit is unique. Tesla, Inc. is an automotive company that operates globally. Similar to the organization I selected (Amazon), it also prefers to hire a significant proportion of its leaders from tertiary institutions because it is easy to groom the young recruits and align them with the desired leadership strategies of the organization. However, I believe that the company should not rely more on university students. The competition and the technological demand in the automotive industry require people with experience. Individuals who have been in the industry are familiar with the operations of the sector. Thus, Tesla, Inc. should have a balance in its acquisition of talent. As a global company, Tesla, Inc. encompasses diversity. The statistical data you quote give credibility and evidence of the status of diversity. Diversity is beneficial to organizations and they should invest in diversity management to maximize its advantages (Triana, 2017). Overall, your post gives valuable information and improves understanding of the internal operations of Tesla, Inc. and how it manages diversity.

Your post starts by highlighting the desirable attributes of leaders at Boeing. It gives insights on what is expected from an individual who desires a leadership position at Boeing. Although people can exhibit inherent leadership qualities, training is necessary to streamline an individual to the requirements of the organization. The information you put across demonstrates the significance of having leadership-training programs. Employee training entails leadership skills. The training and support accorded are vital because they create an avenue for creating leaders with the capabilities of identifying and addressing emergent problems (Alvinius, 2017). The involvement of current executive leaders in spearheading the training programs is beneficial to Boeing due to their experience and knowledge of the industry that they pass on to the new leaders being groomed. Similar to most corporates, the company also undertakes diversity management. The formulation of an internal department that enhances diversity is a display of Boeing’s commitment to have a diverse workforce. This makes me understand your interest in working for the company. Furthermore, it explains why Boeing is a multinational corporation that attracts employees across the globe.
