Disseminating research findings
Dissemination of research findings allows researchers to share with the audience and the public on the results of their findings. First, I would determine who are the target audience that might take an interest in my discoveries. They might include policymakers, scholars, and the general public. In so doing, I will use the right channels to reach the target audience in their respective sources of information. Secondly, the audience’s determination allows for an understanding of the norms of different people and their preferred source of information. For instance, scholars access information via scholarly material such as journals, newspapers which contain instructions on how to disseminate work through such platforms. The public, with minimal interest, could prefer social media, websites, or conferences, which must be considered. It is also vital to consider potential sensitivities that influence the conception of information (National institute for health research, 2020). Therefore, if the findings are on political beliefs, it will be best that the discoveries I adjust to the political climate.
I might choose to archive all research efforts for further research and analysis in the matter. Research reveals information that has to be backed up with data that, in some instances, require more time into the case. In so doing, we can gather more data to understand observations and perhaps extend the scope of data collection. For instance, if a study is on politics and the time of data collection happened during political campaigns, the decision to archive data can resume collecting views post-elections. Also, archives can be to encourage future innovations and collaboration in the subject matter. Different researchers bring varying perspectives that are useful in the context of broad data collection and analysis.
