Employee retention is a critical element
Discussion
Employee retention is a critical element that should be of concern to the management of a major organization. The concern is due to the potential of losing talented and skillful employees to the rival companies and increasing the cost of hiring and training new employees. Thus, am interested in addressing the management of the Walmart Incorporation on the need to implement an employee volunteer program to enhance the morale of its workforce. The management of the Walmart Incorporation needs to be persuaded on the need to adopt and implementing the employee volunteer program to save the organization from loss of talented employees and increasing the cost of acquiring new employees. This endeavor will help in promoting the wellbeing of the organization in the future. The persuasion will effectively be realized by employing empirical observations to demonstrate the extent to which volunteer programs have helped organizations in the past to enhance their workers’ retention rate.
Thus, research will be employed to derive persuasive evidence on the need to adopt the program based on successes that have been realized in other corporations in the past. The approach employed in persuading the management of the Walmart Incorporation to implement the program will be successful since the empirical data offered will give tangible evidence they can rely on in informing their decision. Indeed, the extent of the research to base its argument based on experiences from other organizations is critical in determining the extent to which the management of Walmart will be convinced that the program will work. Consequently, I intend to use the finding parts of the articles used in the research to prove the point by demonstrating the findings of the researchers on the effectiveness of a volunteer program in promoting employees’ retention rate.
