Final EXAM – Stop/Kiss
Please use the posted powerpoints on CANVAS, the textbook, lecture notes, and the plays themselves to help answer these questions. Answers should be concise and direct. No introduction or thesis statement needed – get straight into the answer. Support your arguments, analysis and assertions with specifics and examples. Answers themselves should be 2-3 paragraphs.

Part 1: Action Analysis (50 points)
Using Script Analysis for Actors, Directors and Designers (SA), answer questions 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 on pgs. 38-40 (included). Make sure you explain your answers in detail (a minimum of 2-3 sentences for each number) and answer ALL parts of the questions.
Part 2: Given Circumstances (100 points)
Using Script Analysis for Actors, Directors and Designers (SA), answer questions 1-9 on pgs. 70-72 (included). Make sure you explain your answers in detail (a minimum of 2-3 sentences for each number) and answer ALL parts of the questions.
Part 3: Units and Beats (100 points)
Using Script Analysis for Actors, Directors and Designers (SA), review pgs. 133-140 (included).
Using the script itself, divide it into (1) Units and then (2) Beats. Then, label and type out (3) Units and (4) Beats as demonstrated on p. 139 (included). REMEMBER, you must use active verbs and you CANNOT repeat these verbs. Turn in your Unit and Beat divided script with your exam.
Part 4: Structure (25 points)
(A)How would you describe the structure of the play? Linear or non-linear? Climatic or Episodic? Justify your answer in 3-5 sentences.
(B) Draw a graphic representation of the structure of the play.
Part 5: GOTE (25 points)
Create a GOTE for each character in the play. This is not for each individual scene, but rather for the entire play. Each character will only have 1 GOTE
