House Harvesting Project
Question 1
The best thing, for now, is that the team has been able to foster trust and effective communication. These aspects have helped build collaboration, especially in the house harvesting face, which is working as expected (Komives, & Wagner, 2017). However, there is a need for modern communication technologies to make sure that our efforts in house harvesting are successful in these trying times. The team chose Facebook as the most important way to let people know about the project and its importance. The coronavirus has dramatically affected our house harvesting plans as there is a lockdown in the many cities where the house harvesting would have been done. Thus, to adjust to this situation, we have decided to start a Facebook page to ensure the house harvesting efforts are carried out as usual. Katelyn and Stephen are responsible for creating the page. They will create the page at their homes to comply with safety policies that have been set to stop the spread of the virus. The project success will be measured through the responses we will receive on the Facebook page.
Question 2
As for now, the group is operating as expected. The best thing is that everyone is cooperative and handling their role as expected. The communication process is transparent since we can use video conferencing to conduct most of the meetings. This channel has helped nature trust among the members and has improved significantly in the process of house harvesting (Komives, & Wagner, 2017). The team has shared ideas and decided to use Facebook as a way of house harvesting. However, the only challenge the team is facing is hosting the party since movements and clouding have been restricted due to the coronavirus. Restricted movements are the major challenge that has hindered the success of the project. However, through video conferencing, the team has been able to overcome this challenge, and everything is working as planned.
