Human attacks
In the current generation, the aspect of human attack is common, and this can take three forms namely intelligence, adaptivity, along with creativity. Intelligence uses common sense. In this case, a human element is attacked by an attacker through the initiation of the use of critical information. The attacker uses the most common background information, and this may include the use of common steps that a person usually gets involved in. For instance, the pathway that a person uses on a daily basis may serve a great deal in this. Apart from that, one’s habits are learned and this may involve some behaviors, activities, and attitudes.
Intelligence is one of the most common applications in the study of the background of a person. This, as the name suggests, involves the collection of information in an incognito manner without the understanding of the target person (Dartnall, 2014). In this regard, the target person may not understand what is happening. All that the human attackers do under intelligence is to collect critical information that may be used in the tracing of steps that a person gets involved in. However, intelligence bases itself on indirect reporting, whereby a person’s information is reported by a third party. The reporter usually happens to be a non-suspicious entity, and this is what enables the aspect of incognito. People used as agents of intelligence are hard to be uncovered. In this regard, the actors run the show without the knowledge and notification of the attacked.
On the other hand, apart from intelligence, there is an aspect of adaptivity. This is almost similar to intelligence whereby a person’s common elements are learned. With adaptivity, this may be conditional or unconditional. In the field of criminal justice, adaptability may be based on some conditions whereby a suspect or a subject may be imposed to some new environment. In this case, the behavior of such a person is learned in the new norm. In most instances, human behavior tends to adjust to the new normal. The new normal may either be based on some conditions or not. When based on conditions, this brings the aspect of conditionality. For instance, a person may be tortured so that the judging entity may understand the reaction that such a person may pose.
Last but not least, there is also the element of creativity. In this case, the human attackers devise ways that may be in tandem with the norms of the attackers (Yang, & Shan, 2008). Creativity is a matter of coming up with tactics that may help in understanding the behaviors of the person in subject. The tactics have to be so new to the attacked in the sense that he or she should not understand what is going on. Creativity may take the form of direct interaction between the attacker and the attacked. In this case, the attacker may be interested in knowing the various trends and conditionalities that may be involved in behavioral change.
In conclusion, human attack is common and this is usually done in a conscious or unconscious manner. The attacked may either be aware of or not aware of what is going on. The awareness or lack of awareness may be based on the tenets of intelligence, creativity, and adaptivity. It is, therefore, recommended that the human being should be keen on and aware of his or her environment. This will help in ensuring that the attacker and the attack are detected soonest possible. Human attack is thus an element that can be avoided or mitigated by an individual depending on the measures that such a person puts in place.
