Legacy
Legacy can be defined as the things that are handed from the past by the ancestors or predecessors to the present generation. Legacy may be in form of money, properties, ideologies, expertise, or skills. Legacy allows the inheritance of things originating from an ancestral source and spread around people through the free and natural provision. Legacy is mainly associated with the sharing what people have learned and not necessarily what they earned and passing on values rather than valuables. A holistic definition of legacy can be given as the genuine dedication of an individual to offer their lives to make something meaningful, long-lasting, and contributes to serving the humanity. Legacy is usually greater than one individual and provides causes that comprehensively include human beings. Legacy requires uniqueness and an individual must immerse themselves passionately into living a life that is not concentrated to oneself but outlast their existence on earth. The difference between present living o an individual and eternity is usually filled with the entity of legacy. The legacy lens puts into consideration the perspective of generations and one must be aware of the desires and needs of the people who will live beyond a certain generation by making a difference. Legacy is a residue of the life that have been lived well through the creation of a sense of significance an creation of a ripple effect in the coming societies.
