LIFE GOAL
The different types of life roles I am expected to play a factor in shaping a career. This is because I have to choose what roles to play and the most important of them all. Other factors include; previous work experiences, culture, the prevailing economic conditions, and financial aspect of the job. However, the absolute factor here is personality and interests. This is based on a feeling of success to a particular job position. My character will dictate a specific career path that is highly associated with a specific personality.
Throughout life in CSUM, I have been able to gain critical skill one of them being problem-solving where sound analysis of issues is required. I now have the ability to collect, interpret and present facts and demonstrate originality in the invention. Communication has also improved having learnt it is an essential life skill both in private and business world. The building of relationships with college mates has seen my teamwork skills improve, and as a result, I’m now able to interact with diverse cultures across the world. Additionally, there has been a lot of revolution in digital technology in solving problems and in completion of tasks within the stipulated timelines, thus being able to beat deadlines. Work ethic skills have grown with time alongside career management. These skills will go a long way in exploring job options and take steps in pursuing new opportunities.
A year ago, while on attachment as a customer care manager in ABC products in London where I was managed to reduce the time of customer reception from fifteen minutes to three minutes. This improved our customer reviews within a month by a whole 50%. The task was, customers were taking fifteen minutes to get their issues addressed, and I was asked to reduce the service time to less than ten minutes. The action required was the initiation of a scheme to reduce the admission time. I came up with a brief service charter and pointed out the grey areas in the handling of our customers. After extensive interviews, we were able to employ alternative methods of easing congestion. The result was reduced time to three minutes and increased reviews within a month.
The university career centre will be very instrumental in shaping my skills as I exit. This is to gather the required knowledge in my career path. Secondly, it is from their database that has a database for internships and job listing. It is from here that we get seminar and interview skills.

Life goals for us mean tuning dreams into clear images that help us remain on track towards the fulfilment of the same. These goals are a representation of our interests and objectives in life in both the short and long run. These goals to us mean upon achievement, there will increase satisfaction in the future life.
