Life Without a Mother and Father
Part I: Respond to Questions
I am going to write about living without both parents, an event that has left a lifetime mark. Living without both parents has been life-changing and challenging at the same time since I had to grow pretty fast to be able to take care of my little sister. When I was only ten years old, my mother died on the night of Valentine’s day in the year 1999. I was never lucky enough to get to know my dad. I was left with my two siblings, my brother, and sister. My audience would target young people living without parents. My audience ought to know that living without parents does not limit you from becoming a great person in the future and helping those who need your help.
Part II: Prewriting
My name is Keiona; growing up has been challenging, especially being the elder child in the family. We are three children in my family, two sisters, and one stepbrother. I lost my mother when I was only ten years in the year 1999. My family and I used to live in Jacksonville fl. Up until my stepfather, I killed my mother. Having nowhere to go, my sister and I were forced to move to my great grandmother’s place in Camilla. My stepbrother, who was five years old, then moved to his father’s side of the family in Birmingham, Alabama. Life was quite challenging since I had to grow up very fast to be able to take care of my sister.
Moreover, I was never able to meet my father, this made life even more difficult. When I became of age, I got a job and moved out to my own house with my sister. Ever since, I have struggled to live with my sister up until now. Currently, I am thirty-one years old and my sister is now twenty-two and we are living quite a comfortable life. My stepbrother is even doing better, he is twenty-seven years currently, and he still lives in Birmingham, Alabama. Some of my family members are again leaving in Jacksonville, although most of them are here in Georgia.

Opening Statement: My name is Keiona, growing up was both life-changing and full of difficulties.

Thesis statement: Living without parents does not limit you from becoming a great person in the future or helping those in need.
Body
Setting: I was living in Jacksonville fl. and after my mother died, my sister and I had to move to my great-grandmother’s place, and my stepbrother moved to Birmingham together with his father’s family.
Characters: I was left with my younger sister and brother
Background: My stepfather killed my mother on the night of valentine’s day in 1999, and I never meet my father; hence, I had to struggle with my sister up to date.
Conclusion
Thesis Restatement: Growing up, I have always been alone with my sister, and I had to grow quite fast to take the help of my younger sister.
Concluding statement.: Life without my parents had a lot of challenges, and this has left a mark in my life that inspires me to work hard every day.
