Male and Female Misogynists Roles Throughout the Decades

Females get shamed for their bodies, get sexualized

The music industry is more of how you will capture the audience and make you funs great of the lyrics that you will pass to them. In many instances, female rappers have the shame of their body when it is not curvy and sexy to be looked at when they are performing a show. Women are more of what other people talk about them and whet they have and this makes them get ashamed of whet they are in real like. In most cases when they are in public and people make some funny joke of their bodies they will feel ashamed and they may end up doing plastic surgery so that they can impress (Davis,2018). The female rappers face the challenge of making themselves sexier so that they cannot be trolled on social media on their unimpressive in their music.

Males rap about drugs, money, sex while if females does it too much she is considered as “dirty”

Female who rap about drugs, money as sex are considered to be dirty because those are said to be men things (McKenney & Bigler,2016). Females are said to be of low key when it comes to sexual things, thus when a female rap about sex the audience perceives that she likes sex and that is what she does. When we are looking on how the females and the drug thing they seem to be week in taking hard drugs like weed. There is this perception that what a person says is what he does thus when a female rapper does a track that contains drugs and sexual content then she is termed that she must be dirty.

It is socially unacceptable and comical for females to rape the culture of pop since it is more of sex and that is more of ease what men do. It is difficulty for the female rappers to rape about the sex and how it happens to them thus this create an image to the audience how she does it which is more prolific for a female rapper. The male rappers find it easy for them to have the click on the dirty part of the culture of rape that is more acceptable to the listener.

In most cases females are considered to be taking a low key action of what men do. When men talk about sex it sounds to be a normal thing than when a female can talk of the sex. When a female talk of sex she is considered that she must be used to the game of men and she is not shy or a shamed of taking that kind of content in her music which sound weird to the public. What you feed the mind and what you talk turns out to an action that is in mind thus to men talking of money would mean that he wants achievements while to a female it would be meaning to have power over men.

The content that is contained in the rap industry is more of feminine than and the female rappers would find it hard for them to get involved in the industry that has little for them to do. It sounds weird for them to have a crossover man who have a high number of fans in the industry for them to thrive well. Through this reason they will be considered as dirty when they speak a lot how they will turn on men sexually and emotionally which is a task that is more outspoken by meant in their lyrics. It is also more of hilarious on how female rapper can speak of drugs and female are known of being week in terms of hard drugs thus will automatically make them to be seen as dirty. The dirty mind set is all about involving themselves in what men have to do best beside them.

In the society, women are considered to take sex as an important aspect towards their dignity and self-respect that the way men are considered to the sex aspect. Therefore, when a female rapper rap over sex she is considered to have not having the dignity to herself and she does it to many people. Sex in females is an act that they do out of love despite them having many partners thus it is considered to them being dirty than men who are considered to be naturally polygamous to having many partners. In the same note when female rappers make comments on money they are considered to be loving money in all aspects that they have all the notions of making any decision based on money.

Reason why Males rappers always have been more popular that female rappers

This is because hip pop fans are predominantly male thus this make the music to follow the line of the male music. In most instances the female rappers would not rape what male love rather they will rape for the females and feminist content that females would like to listen to. The fans being male in large numbers it becomes difficult for the female rappers to have the female support that will help the produce music for their audience thus ending up having few female artists. The popularity comes in when there are fans thus the few fans who are female would not help the female rappers to thrive in the hip pop industry and make the difference that male rappers are getting from their supporters. Fans carry the most task in making a rapper popular in the industry, once they love the music it will be easier for them to have the content circulating thus having the fame in the industry.

The rap’s male audience in most cases limits the topics that females can talk about. In most cases the raps that have gained popularity the lyrics that is used is dealing with the sex or women in this case female artist have the no point of having the content that they can have in the lyrics since most of the audience is made of male (Maultsby& Burnim,2016). Males don’t like to hear a female rapping on how she will deal with a man in bed that gives female rappers little content for them to rape about. The content that is being raped through the hip pop does not have the main content that will make them have the difference that will help make them have the main stream of the rape. Due to the limits of the content that will help them cover a wide range of lyrics makes them have the limitations that will make them be few in the industry of rap.

The female rappers who have good talent to compete with male rappers in many cases they stay underground because of the sexuality and exploitation that is associated with being a female rapper star like the cases of Nick Minaj. When they are exposed to the male rappers they tend to be exploited in most lyrical verses since male rappers are many and they would like to mix the feminism in the lyrics. Some of the female rappers fear the exploitation and the sexual trolling in social media platforms since most of the content that is streamed in the pop lyrics is more of sex, drugs and money which sound weird for females to get engaged in such content (Coleman, Butler, Long,at el ,.2016). The exploitation is more of making the female rappers having sexual relationships with the male rappers whom they cannot help to avoid and this ends up making their reputation of having a healthy relationship of a non-artist to collapse.

Males they song feel like they can relate fully with females in the rap industry. In this incidence they are more of having the content that is contained in the lyrics that is more of male that females. In relation with the content that is provided within the rap is more often for male and the female have little to do in the rap industry to have a breakthrough. When both the male and female rappers would not simulate well they will not thrive in the industry of the rap this makes the female.

When males say they like Nicki Minaj or Cardi b people would say they are ‘gay’ as sad as it sounds its true

It is true since the female artist rap a content that is about female and how they do things it shows how those men are more of feminine than masculine. Nick minaj is more of the manner she deals with men and there are men who like her music there is a high chance of them being gay (Grigoriadis,2015). The content of rap is more of sex and female this will show how the male who like the content will dominate it to their fellow male and they be considered to be gay.

Comparison of both time periods of African American Artists from 50s, 60s,70s 80s to modern rappers

In 50s the following artist were in the American rap: Ella Fitzgerald , Sarah Vaughn ,Dinah Washington and Duke Ellington this were among the rappers who were always in the top ten list in 50s. Majorly they were female rappers who were dominating the top list unlike the 60s where male rappers dominated in the top ten list. In the 60s the artist who were involved in the rapping industry involved Malcolm X , Robert Weaver and H. Rap Brown they were the most dominating rapper in 60s. In 70s had the most popular artist such as Afrika Bambaataa , Grandmaster Flash and Grandmaster Caz who had a big influence of the rap industry that compared to the rappers while in 80s Captain Rap and Disco Daddy who produced the first West Coast rap album (Mohammed-Baksh & Callison,2015). In 90s there was Redman who was ever consistent in top ten in the decade, Snoop Dog, this is the time he started appearing in the MTV the time he was having his rip times in the industry and having the best times in the tap industry. Ice Cube is among the best rappers who made it in the rap industry in the 90s. The modern rappers involve Rick Ross, Drake and Lil Wayne who are at the top of the game of the rap and African American modern rappers.

Compilation of seven songs in African American Music that is representing hypothesis that I chose

The list of the songs that are in the African American music of the hip pop they include the Numb by Jay z, Right here by Rihanna, Believe by Meek mill, Negatron by Nick Minaj , Look a live by Drake , She will by Lil Wayne and can’t take my eyes off of you by Lauryn Hill.

Conclusively, the old rappers and modern rappers have a difference. The kind of music that is being produced recently is not same as the one that was being produced in 60s and 50s. Modern rappers such as Rick Ross have the music that is all over the topics of life while old rappers such as Malcom X all their music was based on the same topic that they would produce now and then. The industry keep on revolving to what fans wants and that helps the artist to have the best produce in the industry. Female rappers have an advantage since most of the fans in the hip pop music are men and they would like to listen what the male rappers have for them.
