One of my earliest memories is that of my first bicycle
One of my earliest memories is that of my first bicycle. I was in 2005 when I was 5 years old. We when to New York and was told to select a bike of choice in one of the bike stores then my dad payed. As we were headed home, I kept looking at the track because I was afraid not to lose it. I wasn’t able to ride a bicycle yet. But I was eager to learn it. Because there were many kids to have bikes and they can ride on.
The memory is being stored in the long-term-memory. This type of memory store information for an extended period. Long-term memory encompasses everything from what we learned in first grade to our old addresses to what we wore to work yesterday. Long-term memory has an incredibly vast storage capacity, and some memories can last from the time they are created until we die. It is of two types, the explicit and the implicit.
This type of information is usually stored in explicit memory. The exact memory consists of information that is consciously stored or retrieved. The explicit memory is also divided into two the, semantic memory which stores fact-driven from a particular context and the episodic memory, which stores the historical and personal events. My first-bicycle experience is stored in the long term memory, in the explicit type of long term memory in the episodic explicit kind of memory.
