Subject: Provocative Outfit by Waitresses
The working lunches have been one of the best experiences in your firm. However, an issue of concern has repeatedly occurred. My ethical standards have seemed to be in disagreement with the dress code for the waitresses serving during the lunchtime. The fact that the lunchtimes cannot be missed means that I have to put up with the provocative dressing, which may affect my concentration during the meetings. I am determined to have a fruitful partnership and issues that can be addressed should not be allowed to compromise the performance of any partner.
The aim of the lunches has always been to create a friendly avenue for all the partners. Therefore, I write to pass my concern and ask for action to be taken concerning the issue. I would be humbled to see the matter addressed professionally without upsetting the status quo. Several solutions may be considered for addressing the issue.
The selection of the bar to hold the meetings may be changed to suit the interests of all the involved partners. Also, the bar may be engaged to present the complaints from the partners in a bid to address the problems in a professional way. Moreover, the bar may be requested to invest in other methods of entertaining guests and managing the dress code of the waitresses. A more convenient method would be involving the waitresses in the decisions that the bar will agree with the organizers of the meetings.
I understand the significance of the lunchtime meetings and would do anything to see the meetings leading to success. However, the success of the partnership will depend on the comfort of each partner in the work environment. The idea of provocative dressing should be addressed to avoid disappointments.
