In the year 2005, NASA was interested in the assembly of a solar array on the moon. Such a task would be risky for human beings, and thus, an alternative was sought. Robots were the best alternative to fulfill the assembling dream (Williamson, 2016).

Technology transfer is one of the characteristics of technology firms, and NASA has not been left out. After the invention that was aimed at the assembly of a spaced array, the technology had to be transferred to other productive areas, and the commercial sector was one of them (Taylor & Harkey, 2018).
- Challenges
The operation of the robotics is, however, not free from challenges. Right from NASA’s invention, challenges have been present, and in most cases, individuals have even considered reverting to human labor.

In sum, the invention of the robotics by NASA engineers has been a breakthrough for the warehouse industry. The main aim of the robotics technology was to replace human labor in dangerous tasks with robots.
