Shakespeare Relevance Up To Date
The question “To be or not to be?” is none among most of the phrases that have passed from the lips of most of the authors as they conduct their plays almost in the last four decades in both their screens and plays. The same question is also common in nearly all countries despite their language and origin. This is a shred of visible evidence that the work of Shakespeare influences the world even after his death.
The relevance of the work done by Shakespeare has been defined by researchers as; art revealing different faces to differentiated cultures, with different people this happening in different times, fellow writers also acknowledged Shakespeare from being ‘not of an age but for all time.’
Reasons that make Shakespeare art to remain relevant even after his death are
One finds themselves quoting Shakespeare out of their knowledge
The influence that the author impacted on the English language is so deep such in most of the cases, most of the phrases that we use and search from the dictionary trace their roots from Shakespeare. For instance, if you happen to have said “tongue-tied”, “in a pickle,” “it’s Greek to me,” definitely you are quoting Shakespeare out of knowledge (Smith, Bruce).
Shakespeare works are enduring and universal, so is his characters
The art of Shakespeare in writing is filled with emotions, pithy, full of mery.in addition to that, he was masterful on aligning his stories and characters using characters in which the audience or readers makes identification with Ophelia’s distress or the enduring love of Romeo and Juliet. This is creating the relevance of his script from generation to the other due to the selection of characters and artwork which amaze any reader who comes across the work from Shakespeare (Elsom, John).
Shakespeare’s work has developed the human condition and helping them cope with the hurdles they faced in their lives. For instance, a reader expressed himself by saying through reflection on the plays by Shakespeare art has become a habit frame of reference, a coping mechanism, and a reflex (Smith, Bruce). He also thanked the author’s work since it has saved the agony in his marriage since any time they are into a fight with his wife and requires marriage counseling with the comedy, he uses Shakespeare’s hamlet to save the agony.
Shakespeare’s artwork will remain relevant at all times, an attribute achieved by the uniqueness of his art, which encompasses the daily life encounter, which is unavoidable in human existence.
