Attention Getter: How many of you own a watch? How many of you wish they could hold a watch to assist them in proper time management? I am lucky to own one of the Casio watches since my initial years in high school, which has played a significant role in ensuring I have full command of how I spent my time effectively. Moreover, my watch has enabled me to develop a habit of efficiently managing my time throughout my period in elementary school, high school, and now in college. It is my representation both socially and intellectually as I never go out without wearing the watch.

Besides, the vintage black digital watch stands as a clear reminder of my past teen memories and how I perceived life despite various constant challenges until where I am today. Today I am going to demonstrate how my black Casio watch has enabled me to strive and reach the level I am today as a college student. Furthermore, I will describe how the clock has stood for several years, symbolizing endurance, perseverance, patience, and hard work during my time at school.
Description of Casio Watch Artifact
Sincerely, I am grateful and lucky to own this watch since it has been the source of achievement and accomplishment during my initials years at school. The vintage black Casio watch is a gift from my lovely parents back in high school. After performing with excellent results, my mother purchased it for me having explicit knowledge of how dedicated I was to manage my time both at school and at home. Since then, I have been able to precisely manage in strictly following my schedule to the latter and in the process able to accomplish my routine targets on time.
Furthermore, the watch has acted as a symbol of how I have been able to manage through the toughest times while at high school. For instance, I adhered to new daily school routines, keeping time, finishing both take-away and classwork assignments, and planning for my co-curricular activities effectively and efficiently (Hansol). It has been my motivation that propelled and assisted me to endure, persevere, and hope for the very best in my academics. Additionally, it is symbolic of the actual person I am today when it comes to matters of time management, as well as having a specified time reserved for each important schedule to be undertaken.
Importance of My Watch
First and foremost, the watch has enabled me to remain disciplined and focused on my goal in life through proper planning and execution of various tasks timely. It is my regulator and motivation for every job I assign to be accomplished by a specific time. Moreover, my watch has enabled me to stand out among my younger siblings as I have ended up developing a vital habit of effective time management (Hansol). Additionally, through this watch, you see right here on my left hand, I am confident that all plans and goals are attained without failure due to strict adherence to keeping time. I usually allocate every task, assignment, and any other duty a specific period, on which it should be completed. Consequently, this has to turn to be what has propelled and pushed me to succeed both in my high school and currently in college (Hansol). Illiteracy as a Social Injustice
Introduction
What is your initial memory concerning reading and education? Imagine the various instances you have experienced since you started reading in your academic journey. Have you ever experience challenges that reduced or limited your readings and learning process? A considerable number of people are victims of illiteracy globally due to a lack of opportunity and support from both guardians and parents (An 66). Think of an instance where you read and become extremely inspired to offer assistance through the provision of a solution to the issue evident in your reading. For example, the less privileged, disabled, and members of the lower economic class. Currently, several countries have been subjected to what is being termed as bondage, mainly due to the issue of illiteracy. The effect of inequality in terms of resource distribution, learning support, and lack of responsible and able parents have subjected many children globally to the challenge of illiteracy. In the process, children have been denied the chance of pursuing their future dreams and careers ending up in distress due to psychological oppression (An 67). Today I am going to discuss the dominant issue of social injustice that is a result of illiteracy among the less helpful in the U.S. and globally.
Illiteracy in the World
One of the most difficult challenges in the current world is
ignorance, which has affected a vast population resulting in cage and bondage. A large percentage of the people are unable to communicate and pursue their careers through education since the majority of the people are under poverty and unable to provide food for themselves and their families (Cho 13). Knowledge is fundamental for the bright future of upcoming children, and it is through pursuing the education that can enable an individual to discover his/her dream and career. Therefore, lack of support to pursue an education to get knowledge and exposure to the outside world has been a significant challenge and, as a result, limits many people from attaining careers ending up worst states, both physically, psychologically, and economically (Cho 13).
Education is an essential feature for better survival and human existence since it has the power to change lives in many ways. Knowledge is acquired through learning, which is a vital element as it exposes an individual to much information concerning the world we live (Kapur). Besides, it enables an individual to have a different perspective on life and become more creative in many fields, bringing positive change economically, socially, and personally. People can become more productive and innovative through knowledge acquired through education. As a result, people can have crucial skills in conducting day-to-day activities in the best manner. As per Kapur education can be termed as key to life, meaning it open doors in different sectors from careers breakthrough, skills acquisition, creativity in every industry, discoveries, and advancement in the modern technology among others.
However, due to lack of opportunities, illiterate and unable parents, lack of resources, and other factors, a considerable number of people are ignorant globally and consequently unable to pursue and attain their desired dreams and careers. Statistics on illiteracy are shocking globally as most people are unable to write down even their names. According to Kapur, 2 in every 10 people are illiterate in the world. Moreover, more women are more ignorant than men, with developing countries of the world having a high prevalence of uneducated individuals, for example, African countries, Asian countries, mainly the Southern region, and the part of the Arabs. Developed countries are also facing the catastrophe of illiteracy. For instance, in the United States of America, 85 million people are below the literate standard. Globally, Africa has the least number of people who can read with less than 36% of the entire continent (Kapur).
Solution to Illiteracy
Humanity demands the support, motivation, dedication, and love for one other, as this is what sets us different from separate living and existing creatures on this planet. Some of the most vital essential support required to facilitate education and eliminate the challenge of illiteracy is the provision of suppliers in the education sectors, teachers, resources, and facilities necessary to conduct the education process (Walker 25) effectively. In cases where food is the reason as to why students are unable to attend their classes, world humanitarian and other supports should come out willingly to offers such vital support. Learning materials such as textbooks, exercise-books, pens, and other materials should be provided freely by the federal government and other governments in the world to the less privileged to boost education (Walker 27). As a result, the federal government will be able to speculate a bright and productive future when its citizens are well educated and exposed through proper education and avoid related issues of dependency.
Furthermore, educating Americans and later exporting them to developing countries that lack teachers and education mentors to offer teacher services and other requirements is a decent, promising idea that can see learning transformed to the next level (Winn 41). Volunteering on providing learning services to fewer privileged children will play a significant role in reducing and eliminating the problem of illiteracy. Besides, supporting learning providers, for example, with their basic needs, will encourage them to be more productive while offering to teach to students. Research studies have indicated that many teachers in sub-Sahara Africa lack support in terms of accommodation, food, and learning materials necessary for teaching (Winn 42).

In conclusion, the percentage of uneducated people both in the U.S. and the world, in general, is an astonishing figure. Many dreams and careers have been postponed and never attain due to a lack of learning opportunities. Developing countries are the most affected, as indicated by the vast number of illiterate people that have caused shattered hopes and aspirations of many children worldwide. Word humanitarian support, volunteers, and other able, willing supporters should consider this problem and rescue millions of people. Introduction
Have you ever thought about the world without healthcare providers? More importantly, can you imagine how the situation would be right now while facing the covid-19 pandemic? Healthcare providers play a significant role in the existence of humanity. It would be impossible to exist in these perilous times without doctors as the world is invested with all kinds of contagious diseases. Since the initial times after the discovery of medicines, doctors have played a significant role in saving human lives in various conditions. Moreover, their services and dedicated support is needed more now as the world is fighting the contagious and deadly coronavirus. Today, I am going to pay tribute to our healthcare providers around the globe for their dedication, hard work, and perseverance in fighting and combating the contagious covid-19 virus.
Healthcare Hard Work, Passion, and Dedication
I am asking you, fellow citizens, to join me in honoring and saluting our healthcare providers who have endured the risks posed by the contagious and the deadly virus in treating the victims. We present our sincere gratitude for the courage that healthcare practitioners displayed during this perilous time of covid-19 pandemics (Lum). Most of them have to dedicate most of their time, someday and night, to ensure lives are saved. Besides, doctors have sacrificed their time with their families and loved ones to ensure they are there in case of emergency due to the deadly nature of the virus. Furthermore, risking their lives, considering the fatal and contagious nature of the illness.
In combating the disease that has threatened to dethrone the entire human existence, endurance and perseverance are a display of your dedication and passion towards your work. Moreover, you have given hope to the world on fighting back the disease by curbing and reducing the spread margin through proper sanitation and social distancing (Lum). Besides, we acknowledge the scientists who are working day and night tirelessly against the clock to ensure they discover an effective medication and vaccine for the disease, which has spread across the globe like a bush fire.
Despite losing a considerate number of people globally, including doctor should not subject as to hopelessness; however, this is the time to remain firm, more positive, and hopeful as we support and trust our healthcare providers for a solution soon (“Health Workers Who Died from Covid-19”). Admittedly, we need to appreciate the moral support, psychological support, and encouragement from the healthcare providers, for example, through disease awareness and how to curb its spread from an infected to another population.
The battle began and is much alive, and no matter how though the fight against the pandemic might turn out, we need to be well prepared to fight positively and with full hope that we shall finally overcome the catastrophe. Let us salute the assurance and indication from our healthcare practitioners that are promising in the fight against the coronavirus. We respect and salute the resilience shown by nurses in the battle despite being at high risk of contracting the disease (Chaer). I present gratitude, respect, and recognition for always being there for humanity and fighting against the pandemic that is wildfire spreading and not yet known whether it has reached its climax.
