The team works well when members are from a different field with different skills with them. The most crucial thing in a team it’s about how roles are assigned and how the team is designed. Leaders should give every member role to play. The tasks assigned to these people should fit their capabilities. That’s the right way of developing a team if the leader wants good results from the participants. The leaders should as well involve themselves in a team. Through this, they will be able to understand each other well. They will be able to understand what members need and what kind of modifications they should undertake to make their team better. Diversity in a team can be incorporated in different ways. The initial idea of integrating diversity in a team its through communication. Diversity is all about transparency and openness. Communication makes all this possible. Therefore, communication should be the key to the competent team and also making other practices possible in a team.

The team comes together to attain things together. That’s why it called a team. However, some things should be done to make the team better. Some of the things are about the design, relationship, and the people in that team. The way leaders or the team itself design a team determined a lot. Roles should be divided based on what someone can attain without a lot of struggle. Concerning the relationship, it will depend on the regulations of the team. Some of the teams are comfortable when their members are working in more than two teams, while another team doesn’t allow. The other essential thing in a team its about the selection of the team members. Some of the team which are new might consider choosing members for themselves. However, other types of the group might be too complicated such that they need from different places to combine efforts.

Team identity refers to the situation where the members of the team feel contented with their group. Sometimes it might not be easy for all the team members to feel satisfied, but to some extent, it’s possible. The essential things it’s about how the members are treated and the productivity of the team. However, it should note that team can’t perform well if the members are not showing their efforts. That’s why leaders should ensure that everyone within the team feels appreciated and valued, depending on the way they are treated. No one at any point should be exposed to a situation where they think underestimated, or they feel not appreciated. When members have valued the efforts to work hard and sacrifice themselves comes automatically. Therefore, it’s the role of the leaders and the associates to work for their team and ensure they give the best for their team.
