Thinking Hats Methodology

 Six Thinking Hats is an essential decision-making technique used for group discussions and individual thinking. The method helps groups think effectively combined with the rational thinking process. Thinking Hats Methodology helps a group to have a more productive and short thinking process. It also inspires creative thing among and makes the mind to be highly sensitive (Kalelioglu & Gülbahar, 2014). The colored hats portrayed are metaphors whereby switching of the brain from one thought to another is symbolized by putting on a colored hat. It helps the mind to have creative thoughts that bring more ideas in the group.

Managing change in a for positivity is a challenging situation in an organization. The introduction of a difference is accompanied by several benefits that motivate the workers to embrace it more efficiently. For instance, having changes in cost savings affects the efficiency of the company and helps increase company productivity. Well, management os employees throughout the change process, restore confidence in such a way that when another change occurs, no fear experienced.

Edward De Bono came up with a new approach of thinking that aimed at increasing thinking efficiency and changing the thinking process. Decision making is a unique challenge in different organizations, whether public or private. For a decision to be successful, one has to handle the problem with a six mindset (Aithal & Kumar, 2017). The mindset is referred to as Six Thinking Hats, which have a different role to play. Every hat comes up with a unique perspective, which makes problem-solving so easier. We have the blue, red, yellow, black, green and white hat. The methodology helps groups think a lot about a problem without offending anyone. With this kind of thinking technique, the minds gain a lot of experience and become innovative.
