Other than the treatments, virtual reality its helps in medical researches and advances discoveries of treatments. Therefore, VR is an irrefutable solution to several medical issues facing the world today.

This article will be helpful in showing the advanced application of VR in medicine.

According to this article, women in labor can use the VR technology to control their psychology and have their thoughts away from the pain. There is a difference this article and the journal article by Snoswell. In this article, the language is not very technical like in Snoswell’s article. Further, this article is meant for everyone while Snoswell’s article, the audience is the professionals in IT. however, the article will be helpful in showing the advantage of VR in the medical field.

This article is different from the article by Snoswell, Aaron J., and Centaine L. Snoswell in that, Panteleimon, et al gets into deep details of VR and its application. Further, this article brings in the idea of augmented reality which is not seen in Snoswell’s article. the information provided in this article is based on inductive research and not personal views and beliefs. This makes the article more credible and reliable. This source will be helpful since it will help me to show how VR is used as a surgical tool.

Snoswell who is the lead author is an Engineer in School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the University of Queensland. Further, the article uses information from various reputable sources and has provided all the citation. The purpose of the article is well stated and direct. I will use this article to study how the VR technology has eased the medical procedures.

Other than focusing on one application of VR, this article focuses on the general usage of VR. It as well provides a deep information about VR and outlines the possible research areas in this field. The article was published in the year 2019. I will use this article to discuss the background information about VR.
