Food Campaign

As the world tries to mitigate the impact that coronavirus has come with (adverb time clause), His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and a host of other dignitaries have launched a campaign targeted at feeding needy families and individual during the holy month of Ramadhan.

While tweeting (adverb time clause), Sheikh Mohammed stated that they were looking to raise money that would go on to provide ten million meals for the needy. The ruler is looking to have these meals distributed to the people as soon as the Holy month of Ramadhan commences (future time clause).

As he was announcing this, he pointed out that Sheikha Hind, who takes part in humanitarian efforts (adjective clause), will be leading the project of feeding the hungry during the Holy month. He stated that this was due to her compassion and extensive efforts that have made her a highly admired personality in society. On her part, Miss Sheikha Hind expressed her appreciation, pointing out how this campaign reflected the inspirational journey for humanitarian efforts that Sheikh Mohammed has been going through.

Sheikh Mohammed has applauded the spirit of giving that is going around (adjective clause), during this time of crisis. He stated, “Feeding people, especially when we are at the gates of the Holy month, is a human and social priority imposed by the circumstances the world is going through, the biggest crisis the world is going through.” He went on further to promise that no one in his land would go hungry.

The Sheikh, as he was passing on this information (adverb time clause), went on to give methods through which people could make their donations. He highlighted that people who wished to make their contributions (adjective clause), could do so through the Etisalat, Du, the Dubai Islamic Bank bank account and a host of other methods.

Many have welcomed this message as a sign of the deeply-rooted spirit of giving in the society, especially in times of crisis and during the Holy month of Ramadhan, where individuals are asked to practice compassion and kindness.
