From the video the I learned that video gaming in China is threatening the young generation in terms of their health. The kids have myopia as a result of continued exposure to light. There is a very different approach when it comes to the American Olympics despite the massive funding on both the Olympic’s luck political interference, and it is also more of a practical game that has actual health benefits unlike in video games. My view on the Chinese youths hasn’t been affected as it is just a means of livelihood like others. Its primary disadvantage is the health implications it might have on the teens.
Having an allegiance to a team is something very dear to any fan. Loyalty is very crucial, and one can never betray their teams by supporting other teams. Unlike other brands supporting a team requires high levels of fidelity since it is a show of how passionate a fan is. Twitter helps significantly in promoting brands by allowing them to get to a vast audience.
From the thread on sports, I learn that all games share a very crucial similarity that is their presentation. Another shared aspect that may not be very prevalent in other sports is staging. Unlike in pro wrestling, staging in other sports is very minimal, which is mainly during their presentation. In my opinion, the women deserve a similar recognition as they exhibit a similar set of skills as their male counterparts. However, the NBA is given priority due to its popularity. In terms of brand marketing, the NBA is more popular than the WNBA. Soccer is my favorite in terms of coverage. The different angles given to goals scored are just the next level and make it more interesting.
