Enterprise network applications

Research emerging enterprise network applications and describe three that you think are most interesting and briefly explain why you believe this.

Enterprise network applications are generally any network software program that employs the net or network devices in the operations and functioning of the corporation. Several emerging Enterprise network applications come as a result of any alterations within the marketplace or enterprise; however, only a few last depending on their use and dependability. From my research, I discovered three thrilling Enterprise network applications, which are; Automation and orchestration, Small data and Visibility, and analytics.

Small data.

The most common form of data is big data; however, small data has emerged as a contrast to big data. While big data entail vast volumes of various kinds of data, little data, on the other hand, involves small amounts of easily understandable data. The most exciting thing I discovered about small data is that it is essential in the day-to-day decision-making of the enterprise. With small data, the management of an organization can analyze the crucial features of data to make informed decisions (Miglani, 2016). Ideally, small data makes the decision-making process fast, economizes on space, and cost as well.

Cloud networking

Cloud networking is whereby an organization hosts its entire or part of its network on the cloud (Savage, 2019). The cloud service may be public or private, depending on the preferences of the particular organization. Interestingly, cloud networking offers a centralized platform for an organization’s resources where these resources can be shared. Adoption of cloud networking saves an organization from incurring unnecessary cost and space as the resources are in one location and shared throughout the organization.

Automation and orchestration

Automation referrer to the creation of a single process or task that can run on its own; orchestration, on the other hand, implements automation for several procedures and functions (Watts, 2020). Adopting both automation and orchestration in networking ensures that there are speedy processes within the organization. I believe that this network trend provides fast, time-saving, cost-effective, and improved productivity.
