Research questions
I think that the classical experimental design would guarantee the integrity of internal validity. Since internal validity focusses on the accuracy of statements given by the results of the research, the classical experimental design would be the best approach because it involves planning the study to meet the objectives of the research question. The aspect of planning makes this approach the most efficient because it gives room for obtaining sufficient sample size, power, and the right type of data that can produce efficient and accurate results of a study.
Research question
Has the development of technology changed how the public administration system works?
Potential areas of ethical misconduct and their implications
- Data collection without the consent or enough information given to the participants or forcing the participants to cooperate into the study against their will. These ethical misconducts have a significant impact on the study results because if the participants are not fully involved, they might give shallow or false responses due to ignorance of the importance of the research.
- The corrupt researchers may represent the efficiency of the public administrator by mismanaging the data collected. This misconduct may make the government to implement wrong policies to its citizens.
- The methods chosen for data collection may be inappropriate or inefficient. Such ethical misconduct may lead to false and inaccurate results.
