Writing response ripples of the Dirac Sea.
The short story “Ripples of the Dirac Sea” by Geoffrey Landis is based on the concept of time travel. This story utilizes the Dirac theory, where it is perceived that a particle has both positive and negative energy. Through this theory, it is observed that most objects have negative energy from where the aspect of time travel is based. In this case, the time travels perspective in the story enables individuals to go back in time and not in the future. The main conditions, in theory, are that actions undertaken in the past cannot influence the future and individuals cannot go to the future and know what the future holds for them.
This story can be perceived as happy since it enables one to understand how the various aspects are undertaken in the past influence an individual’s future. Even though individuals cannot go to the future, it prepares them to plan for the future to ensure that they lay a strong foundation to ensure that they make a bright future. Also, the study of the different principle of physics enables individuals to understand various aspects of the matter and how technology has enhanced the life of humans. In this case, the advancement of technology can be used to understand the different issues about the value of time. The comparison of the past and presence enable a person to predict the future, which as a significant aspect. This aspect allows individuals to be very optimistic about the future as better things are perceived to happen. Therefore, through the story, it is understood that the use of technology and advancement in education can make the future to be bright and is very crucial to human life.
